INSURANCE

Basic service:

Every consignment is automatically insured up to a value of €100. This insurance is included in the price.

In the case of consignments worth in excess of €100 the customer has the option to decide whether to take out separate value insurance on the consignment or not. Unless the customer takes out separate value insurance, he or she will risk receiving only €100 in compensation in the event of loss.

Value insurance of consignments is extra:

It is definitely worth insuring consignments of great value and there are two ways of doing so:

- Insuring your consignment with the carrier. You can indicate your requirement by marking the appropriate box when you place your order. The courier arranges separate value insurance for your consignment on the spot when picking up the package. This can be much more favorable than taking out value insurance with a different insurance company.

- You can choose a different insurance company, however, special value insurance must be taken out separately, prior to pick-up of the package.

Particularly valuable consignments:

In case of consignments worth more than €4,000 the carrier only accepts parcels that have been value-insured. If you intend to ship consignments of such high value, please indicate on placing your order that you wish to take out separate value insurance. We will endeavor to make you an offer on insurance that you will find more favorable than that of any insurance company.
